About the Position
ISC is looking for a physical education teacher with experience in teaching both primary and secondary students. This is a full-time classroom position. The curriculum taught is a combination of international standards and those of the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. This teacher may also be asked to teach interdisciplinary project based learning courses during the afternoon program as needed or possible depending on course load.

·Prepare & teach physical education lessons to students in Grades 1-10.
·Prepare & teach afternoon program lessons as needed.
·Administer and model ISC’s school policies and procedures (e.g., attendance, dress code, etc.).
·Regularly collect, track, and communicate student performance and growth.
·Maintain regular email correspondence with parents and students.
·Experience in international education.
·Ability to shape the future of a developing international school.

- Either: Master’s degree in Physical Education (or related field)
- OR: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (or related field) with Master’s Degree in another field
- OR: 2. Staatsexamen Sport
- Experience with IB Curriculum
- Non-traditional work experience
- 3 years head teacher experience
